What better way to ease the pain of saying goodbye to the summer than a day at the races! It’s an excuse to wear your autumn dresses, suits and accessories. We are so lucky to have a state of the art racecourse on our doorstep here in Limerick.
The Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day is just around the corner on Sunday, 8th of October. Local Limerick lady and style blogger Sinead O Brien will be judging the best-dressed on the day.
The winner will take home a gorgeous diamond pendant to the value of €4,000. Second prize is a shopping experience to the value of €1,000 with Carraigdonn, based in the Crescent and O’Connell Street, Limerick City.
I just love the autumnal colours that are in the shops at the moment: plum, forest green, deep blues and reds. I like to accessorise these shades with neutrals or rose gold (my favourite). Here are some of the fashions I spotted in our boutiques that will make sure you look perfect on the field!
I just love this classy and chic cream lace long-sleeve top with black lace trim ribbon on sleeve detail from Kimono Boutique Newcastlewest.
This luxurious and very ‘on trend’ navy velvet blazer with animal brooch is also available from Kimono Boutique.
It would be impossible not to have a good day at the races wearing this beautiful, black floral Fee G dress from O Donnell’s boutique, Limerick.
This stunning black floral velvet Nissa dress is also from O Donnell’s boutique.
Jumpsuits are here to stay for the Autumn/Winter. This fabulous deep blue jumpsuit from Joanne’s is Killaloe.
You will be sure to turn heads in this classic purple knit three-piece with hand beaded details from Limerick designer, Caroline Mitchel.
